WWE Summerslam Predictions

Alright we are at the hottest party of them all as WWE likes to call it for Summerslam as it has been a while since i have done a predictions blog for wrestling, I know people were shocked to see my blog dry for a while from wrestling. Well here we go here is my predictions for this year’s summerslam.

Brock Lesnar (c) (with Paul Heyman) vs. Roman Reigns vs. Samoa Joe vs. Braun Strowman Fatal 4-Way match for the WWE Universal Championship

Winner: Braun Strowman

Reason:I could see WWE wanting to start the Monster vs Beast storyline for WM 34 by having Braun Strowman win the championship sunday. Braun will be the one to pin Roman Reigns or brock. But I wouldn’t be shocked if Samoa Joe wins the championship either.

Naomi (c) vs. Natalya  WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship

Winner: carmella via cash in

Reason: Naomi will be the one to retain against Natalya, carmella will cash in her money in the bank and defeat naomi because they are in New York which is her home state.

Alexa Bliss (c) vs. Sasha Banks  WWE Raw Women’s Championship

Winner: Sasha Banks

Reason: they are going to start to plant the seeds towards a Sasha Banks and Bayley wrestlemania match for the championship

Jinder Mahal (c) (with The Singh Brothers) vs. Shinsuke Nakamura  WWE Championship

Winner: Jinder Mahal

Reason: Jinder has the numbers game at his advantage against Shinsuke, But on the other hand I could see Shinsuke winning the championship to set up something down the road between him and AJ Styles.

Akira Tozawa (c) (with Titus O’Neil and Apollo Crews) vs. Neville WWE Cruiserweight Championship

Winner: Akira Tozawa

Reason: They just crowned him champion, why would WWE just put the championship on someone to take it off of them a couple days later, plus this is momentum for the titus brand as a whole.

AJ Styles (c) vs. Kevin Owens WWE United States Championship Shane McMahon will serve as special guest referee[33]

Winner: AJ Styles

Reason: somehow some way shane will get involved to cost owens the championship which could make shane go heel against Owens in the future.

Randy Orton vs. Rusev

Winner: Rusev

Reason: Rusev lost to John Cena at Battleground, this is the pay per view for Rusev to get all the heel heat back by beating the viper randy orton.

The New Day (Big E, Kofi Kingston, and/or Xavier Woods) (c) vs. The Usos (Jey and Jimmy Uso ) WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship

Winner: The Usos (Jey and Jimmy Uso )

Reason: I feel that the New day need to split up, and The Usos have been more entertaining after winning the championships. I love the USO Penitentiary storyline that they have going on for them.

Big Show vs. Big Cass Singles match
Enzo Amore will be suspended above the ring in a shark cage

Winner: Big Cass

Reason: Enzo some how some way will find a way to cost big show the match, but in reality he is going to turn on big show and reunite with Big Cass.

The demon Finn Bálor vs. Bray Wyatt Singles match

Winner: “The Demon King” Finn Balor

Reason: Bray Wyatt saw Finn as Fatal Finn Balor but he has not witnessed the Demon King in person. This is where I can see Balor getting one up on Wyatt

John Cena vs. Baron Corbin Singles match

Winner: Baron Corbin

Reason: Gut feeling that Corbin is going to get revenge against cena for costing him the money in the bank cashing in on smackdown.

Cesaro and Sheamus (c) vs. Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins WWE Raw Tag Team Championship

Winner: The Shield

Reason: If you are going to reunite two thirds of the shield you need to have them win the tag team gold, possibly have Roman Reigns join and win the IC championship.

That was my predictions for summerslam be on the lookout because i will be giving out my NXT brooklyn predictions

Wrestlemania is  this sunday, now i am going to give you my best and worst moments of wrestlemania.

My first best moment was when Macho Man and Ms.Elizabeth got back together after his lost to Ultimate Warrior, I love when Ms. Elizabeth came to Macho Man aid when Sensational Sherri turned her back on him after his lost. When they reunited it was like magic it felt right for them to be together.

I think we all can agree with Santina (Santino) Marella being the worst moment of wrestlemania, by having him win the battle royal just to further a storyline with Vickie Guerrero. That women’s battle royal was horrible to be on wrestlemania 25, they should have had one of the up and coming divas win the battle royal not a guy dressed in drag.

I know I am going to rub people the wrong way with this moment but the moment that Chris Benoit won his first WWE World Heavyweight Championship by defeating Shawn Michaels, and Triple H at Wrestlemania 20 was one of the best moments because at the end of the match he had his best friend Eddie Guerrero their to share the moment with him as they both ended the night as champions of their respected brand.

My second worst moment of wrestlemania is when Stone Cold Steve Austin joined forces with Vince Mcmahon in Houston Texas at Wrestlemania 17, at the time it made no sense for Austin to align with Vince, but now I think about it he made a deal with the devil to get a victory over the rock.

Another wrestlemania moment I personally enjoyed was at Wrestlemania 18 when the rock faced off with the immortal Hollywood Hulk Hogan, the crowd was so in favor of Hulk Hogan since they were in Toronto Canada. The Rock turned into the bad guy mid match while hogan turned into the old school babyface hulk hogan while in the NWO attire. After the match Hogan gave rock his respect by raising his arm in victory.

Thanks to the Ballistic one himself Ike Moore for this worse wrestlemania moment, Jerry The King Lawler vs Michael Cole. is one of thee worst moment in mania history, the match made no sense, the match only happened just so Lawler could have a wrestlemania victory which he got then had overturned by the mysterious raw gm.

One of the most memorable wrestlemania moments, was when the boyhood dream came true. Shawn Michaels won his first WWE championship by defeating Bret Hart in the first ever iron man match that went into overtime with Shawn Michaels coming out victorious.

Pre-Show Match

Tag team match

Rich Swann and Akira Tozawa vs. The Brian Kendrick and Noam Dar (with Alicia Fox)

Winner: Rich Swann and Akira Tozawa

Why: I can see Dar being the one that takes the fall because we know Kendrick doesn’t want to be involved with Tozawa.

WWE Cruiserweight Championship

Singles match

Neville (c) vs. Jack Gallagher

Winner: “King” Neville

Why: It’s going to set up for the Aries and Neville feud for the simple fact on 205 live Neville said that he is the greatest cruiserweight.

WWE Raw Tag Team Championship

Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson (c) vs. Enzo Amore and Big Cass

Winner: “The Club” Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson

Why: this was a feud we have seen when the club first came to the company, now they will beat them with the titles on the line.

WWE Raw Women’s Championship

Bayley (c) vs. Charlotte Flair

Winner: Charlotte Flair

Why: Charlotte is undefeated when it a network special and the women’s championship is on the line.

Sami Zayn vs. Samoa Joe

Winner: Samoa Joe

Why: Samoa Joe is the enforcer of Triple H’s new faction that is about to be shown

Sasha Banks vs. Nia Jax

Winner: Nia Jax

Why: Jax needs this victory so she can get into the championship hunt

Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman

Winner: Braun Strowman

Why: Taker will have his mind games during the match to distract roman, even though strowman is going to defeat Reigns.

WWE Universal Championship

Kevin Owens (c) vs. Goldberg

Winner: kevin Owens

Why: I can see Brock pulling a deja vu moment when Goldberg interfered in Brock’s match against Eddie Guerrero at vengeance  before wrestlemania 20. I can also see Chris Jericho getting involved to set up a match between Owens and Jericho.

Mid Week Roundup

I am loving what WWE is doing with 205 live, they are booking Neville in the right direction. What is going to make it more sweeter is when Aries challenges him for the championship at Wrestlemania, The reason why I’m saying this is because while I was watching 205 live I noticed they brought up during the Neville and perkins match that either Aries and Neville weren’t participants in the Cruiserweight Classic. I am waiting for Neville versus Aries because that is a dream match that I want to happen, the possibility of it happening and it being for the cruiserweight championship will be the added cherry on top. Fastlane is going to be in Aries hometown, that is where I can see they plant the seeds for the feud.

 

Now with NXT I could see Authors of Pain losing the titles at Takeover Mania 2, because I feel they will be the enforcers for Triple H’s new heel stable along with Samoa Joe and Kevin Owens. The question is going to be who will be the team to dethrone them, the answer is actually simple it going to be D.I.Y because I see a triple threat tag team match between them, The Revival, and Authors of Pain. Because I have a feeling Authors of Pain will go to raw, and The Revival will be the team that goes to smackdown. D.I.Y will have the tag team title reign that will break the Ascensions reign, speaking of lengthy title reigns, Asuka is going to have hers broken at Takeover Mania 2, people are wondering who is going to defeat Asuka for the championship, It will be Ember Moon who will Eclipse Asuka reign.
