NXT Roundup

NXT started with the reigning tag team champions D.I.Y celebrating their victory over the former tag team champions the revival. Right before they could speak the Authors of Pain lead by Precious Paul Ellering and the Revival came out after them then the revival made claim that they are the rightful number one contenders and stated that the authors of pain wouldn’t have won the dusty classic if it wasn’t for the revival helping them against D.I.Y. Later we found out that the authors of pain will face the revival to declare the new number one contendership for the tag team championship.

Then we had the introduction to Percy Watson coming onto the NXT announce team which could mean the possible transition to Corey Graves staying up for the main roster commentary with 205 starting now. Then it was transition into the tag team match of no way Jose and Rich Swann vs Sanity without one of their members which we find out was kicked out, Sanity picks up the win thanks to Big Damo. After the match they went backstage to get any news out of sanity as Nikki Cross has a stare at the NXT women’s championship then has a stare down with the champion Asuka. Then we have the NXT Debut of Kimber Lee the former Chikara grand champion as she faced the “War Goddess” Ember Moon,  this match I truly enjoyed and I went crazy when Ember hit the Ember Eclipse on Kimber to get the victory.

Now we got news that their is going to be a number one contenders match for the NXT championship where the winner faces off with the champion at TakeOver: Rumble, we have Eric Young, No Way Jose, Roderick Strong, Tye Dillinger, Elias Sampson, Andrade Cien Almas, and Oney Lorcan will be facing off next week to see who will face off in a fatal fourway elimination match where the winner goes on to face off with the champion at TakeOver. We have a new NXT Champion, that is right Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Samoa Joe during the house show in Osaka Japan over the weekend. This match wasn’t as good as their Takeover matches but it was still good match between the two.
