Last night they came back to win the game in the tenth inning off of Kris Bryant home run that was his second on the night his first came in the eighth inning to make the game 4-3. Travis Wood picked up the victory while the “Cuban Missile”Aroldis Chapman collected his 30th save on the season.
The ones that don’t follow baseball are wondering what is this magic number is all about. Well the Magic number are a combination of Chicago Cubs wins and St.Louis Cardinal losses, so it is 22 games until the cubs clinch the National League Central Division playoff spot. Now their are other magic numbers that cubs fans are going to be excited about 28 games for home field advantage throughout the playoffs until the world series, then their is 20 for a playoff spot clinch.
